Meet the Schoenwald Family!
W.A.G. (Woodland Aussies of Georgia) marks an exciting new chapter for the Schoenwald family. Our journey to becoming a breeder began when we fell in love with this remarkable breed of dog. We had crossed paths with a few Australian Shepherds and their striking eyes, intelligence, and wonderful personalties led us to begin dreaming of owning an Aussie too.
We found a breeder in Austin Texas with the most heart melting puppy photos, and healthy quality champion lines so in 2022 we decided to add a furry four legged friend to our family. From day one, our kids were in love with this super-soft fluff ball of fun! We named our gem of a dog Ruby.
Since Ruby joined our family we have had many adventures together including hitting the road in a 5th wheel for 8 months and traveling around the eastern half of the country. Ruby travelled everywhere enjoying hikes through state parks, up mountains, down beaches, and playing around the campgrounds.
We decided to settle down in Macon Georgia where we now enjoy a strong community with vibrant friendships and a place where the six of us can call home.
Ruby’s boundless energy, intelligence, and heartwarming loyalty prompted us to want to share this unique joy of owning an Aussie with others. Come join us in this adventure of love, laughter, and the unparalleled bond between humans and their four-legged friends.
